Raj Gazula leads the Treasury Solutions group for Truist Bank. In this role, Mr. Gazula is responsible for delivering solutions that help Truist business clients nationally across all lines of businesses to optimize their liquidity, cash management and money movement needs.

Mr. Gazula joined the legacy SunTrust organization in 2013 and has been in this role since May 2020. He is based in Atlanta. Prior to his current role, Mr. Gazula led the Transformation team for the Truist Corporate and Institutional Group (CIG) with a focus on merger integration as well as various strategic initiatives. Previously he held various leadership positions at SunTrust including Head of Commercial Card and Merchant Services, Strategy and Business Administration lead for Commercial & Business Banking as well as Head of Wholesale Banking Strategy.

Before joining SunTrust, Mr. Gazula was with McKinsey & Company from 2006 to 2013 as Associate Partner. At McKinsey, Mr. Gazula led management consulting engagements for financial institutions throughout North America on a range of topics including strategy, risk and operational areas. Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Gazula was an Engineering Manager at Seagate Technology, a global storage products and solutions provider, leading a team of engineers and technicians in a 24×7 manufacturing environment.

Mr. Gazula earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi and an MBA degree in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
