State of Education in Metro Atlanta 2021
Join us for the 5th annual State of Education in Metro Atlanta. We will hear directly from students and superintendents about the opportunities and challenges of school during and after the pandemic.
We will also review the current state of education for our region’s 600,000 students, and Learn4Life’s progress toward scaling cradle to career strategies, including the science of reading and supporting students with FAFSA completion.
Hear from VOX ATL students, as well as several local education leaders including:
- Morcease Beasley, Ed.D., Superintendent, Clayton County Public Schools
- Lisa Herring, Ed.D., Superintendent, Atlanta Public Schools
- Ryan Lee-James, Ph.D., Director, Rollins Center for Language & Literacy
- Grant Rivera, Ph.D., Superintendent, Marietta City Schools
- Cheryl Watson-Harris, Superintendent, DeKalb County School District
We look forward to learning and collaborating together to drive toward more equitable outcomes for all of metro Atlanta’s students.
